How to update edit/publish permissions in GTM?
If you choose the Done-For-You setup method, then we will ask you to share access to your Google Tag Manager.
It’s important that we have Edit and Publish permissions to be able to import and publish our container.
Not sure how to check and adjust these permissions? Follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Go to User Management
To grant access to your Google Tag Manager container, sign in to your GTM account and select "User Management" under the container Admin options.
Step 2: Add New User
Click the blue "+" button in the top-right corner to add a new user to the GTM container.
Step 3: Choose Permission Type
Add the email address of the user you would like to add, then select Edit and Publish under the Container permissions. Finally, click the invite button in the top-right corner.
That’s it! You’ve successfully granted "Edit/Publish" permission in Google Tag Manager.
