How to update Collaborator Access on Shopify?

On some occasions, we may need you to update the collaborator access you gave on Shopify for us to be able to make changes to your store.



While updating the permissions, you need to enable the following options if they're missing:

 

  • Orders: "View"
  • Analytics: "Reports"
  • Online Store: "Themes" and "Edit Code"
  • Store Settings: "Manage settings", "Domains", and "Manage and add custom pixels"
  • App Permissions: "Manage and install apps and channels"


Here's how you can update your access:


Step 1: Head to your Shopify Admin page

Log in to your Shopify Admin. On your Admin page click on "Settings" in the bottom left.

Step 2: Go to "Users and permissions"

Once you’re in the “Settings” page, you can click on “Users and permissions.”

Step 3: Navigate to Collaborators

Scroll down to the "Collaborators" section, and click "Analyzify | Solverhood".

Step 4: Update the permissions

Here, you can update the topics you wish to give permission to.

Grant Access to Customer Events

If you wish to use Shopify's checkout extensibility, please note that we need also permission to "Customer Events" section in order to send checkout data. You can follow the steps above and update your collaborator access. 

To grant access to customer events section, make sure to check "View customer events" and "Manage and add custom pixels" option under Store settings.
