How to share access to Google Analytics 4?

This tutorial will show you how to share and update a Google Analytics 4 access with the Analyzify team. There are 2 options: API access or sharing GA4 access manually.

Note that we don't recommend manual access as it's not compatible with our automation.

Let's start with the API access.

Step 1: Go to Access Management

Log in to Shopify Admin > “Apps” > “Analyzify”, and then on the app’s dashboard, click “Access Management”.

Step 2: Enable Google Analytics 4

Turn on the Google Analytics 4 switch and click on the "Sign in with Google" button, continue, and click Finish.

Check our tutorial to find your GA4 measurement ID.

Manual Access

Step 1: Go to GA4 Admin

Head to your Analytics account and click "Admin".

Step 2: Find Account

Then, click "Account Access Management" in the "Account" column.

Step 3: Add Users

Click on "+" and select "Add users".

Step 4: Choose User Role

Add a new user email and assign the role you wish.

If you want to share access with Analyzify, type in gtm2@analyzify.app and assign the Editor role.

Step 5: Save

Click "Save" and your selected user will receive the invitation.
