What are Enhanced Conversions

Enhanced Conversions is a feature launched by Google in May 2021, aimed at improving conversion attribution by utilizing customer-provided first-party data (e.g., name, email, phone number, address) within the conversion tags. This advanced method allows Google Ads to more accurately identify customers and their interactions with your ads.

Initially, we recommended activating this feature only as a secondary conversion metric due to potential warnings or inaccuracies. However, with improved reliability and measurement capabilities, we now use Enhanced Conversions as the primary setting for our clients.

How to set up Enhanced Conversions with Analyzify

  • Through GTM: Analyzify simplifies the process by including all necessary variables, triggers, and tags for setting up Enhanced Conversions on Shopify via Google Tag Manager (GTM). There's no need for you to make manual adjustments in GTM; our setup takes care of everything, ensuring accurate data capture and transmission to Google Ads.
